If you plan to engage in the business of selling firearms and/or firearms ammunition, you must first follow the Gun Control Act (GCA), administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) of the Department of Justice, which contains Federal licensing standards for various firearms businesses (manufacturers, importers, and dealers). Firearms licenses are also issued to persons who wish to be collectors of curio and relic firearms.

The Federal Firearms Licensing Center (FFLC) is responsible for determining eligibility and acting upon applications for Federal firearms licenses. Questions pertaining to licensing, may be directed to the Arizona ATF office. (09)
